Baroque-jewel Merdingen/Germany


We are building the new baroque-organ for the parish in Merdingen.

Merdingen enclosed to the Tuni-mountain is a very famous growing area for best wine from germany.
The organ is aquipped with three keyboards and 32 stops. At the present time the organ is growing up in our workshop. Some finished parts of the organ-case are already installed and stand on the church-gallery.

All pipes are hammered and tapered upwards.

A look of the altar to the organ. Still this is to be seen under the double gallery the swell-box. Later one will only hear the swell-box. The "Recit" sits in the main case with rotary doors in the front. The pedal is arranged behind the swell box.
The big towers of the organ are fixed by carpenter's master Jürgen Lay and organ builder master Uli Sekat.
Many assistants from the parish in Merdingen have come to help us in the unloading and in the transport of the organ parts on the organ gallery.
Friday, 29th June, 2007: At 14.00 o'clock we load the organ parts in the truck Carefully the parts are solidly fastened in the truck.
The hand-carved lime-tree is ready. Also you can see the grapes from Merdingen - this location is famous for its excellent wine like the "Merdinger Buehl" for example.
J.Hintereck and Xaver Baermann from the parish in Merdingen check up the advanced work in our workshop.
The coloring of the organ-case has already begun. Organbuilder Andreas Reinbold and Organbuilder master
Uli Sekat paint the organ with special color-oil.
Here you can see the details of the hand-carved lime-tree.
The master-case grow up in our workshop. Organbuilder Martin Jaeger positioned the display pipes.
Trainee Karl Heinz and carpenter master Juergen Lay span the difference of the pilaster strip for the front of the church-organ.

Organbuilder Frieder Asch and Andreas Reinbold are fitting the swell-box. Behind this case the Pedal-box is growing up near to the steeple-wall.
The master-case is still in our worshop. In the picture on leftside Organbuilder Martin Jaeger fixed some big wodden straps in the inside of the organ-case.
